February has new winners for the X-UP!

Apologies first for this being a late post. One thing we wanted to make sure of was a status before posting which I’ll get into in a minute. But first, we have new winners in the X-UP points program! Taking first place is Zildjin with a 875 total points. And for the random participation winners, the dice was rolled, landed on #45 and that was Delkurtz! With a grand total of 13740 points that reigns in for tier 5 prizes, Zil will walk away with 100K in gold while Del takes 50K in gold. Congrats to both of you and thank you for participating in the X-up!

So why the delay? We wanted to make sure the status of the crafting tables in the guild hall first. Yes, we know there are some that are missing. But what we do know is that we have what it takes to have them all attuned and placed. And then having some on backup for when the new expansion hits in June which will bring it two more sets.

When we started the X-UP system, we had 2 goals in mind. One was to encourage inner guild play, activities, impromptu, etc… And for two, to give Vanquish a goal to grab every crafting station in the game so we can have them at the guild hall which took a lot of people’s time, money, resources, writs to acquire that goal. We have achieved both those goals.

The X-UP, after an entire year of running, will now be ending at the end of March. We started this in April 2018, achieved those goals, and now it’s time to make room for other things. We especially want to thank those that have consistently posted event images that brought in those participants. Lenore is one that comes to mind but there are so many others.

For our final month, let’s kill the record of X-UP! Our high prize level was Tier 2 back in September of 2018. We have yet to hit Tier 1. Post those images, get into those groups, and let’s knock it out with a Crown giveaway!

Once again, congrats Zil and Del for taking home February!

Congrats to Zildjin and Delkurtz!

X-up has accomplished so very much in the last year and I'm a bit sad to see it come to an end. I'm sure we'll see it back in some form in the future, but for now I'd like to thank Duck, Meg and all of our members for making it such a huge success!

Keep posting those screen shots folks and make March the BEST month yet!
@DeSyreni

This was an amazing event! I hope March does meet the Tier 1 prizes. Time to unload the last of my master writs on Meg!
Gratz to Zildjin and Delkurtz!

I am sad to see it end too, I didn't realize it was a limited time thing. but good news that it was a success!!

Lytani, send them to me @sirduckman. Meg hasn't been playing eso for a bit.

As for Xup, it's been a year. A long time doing updates every Saturday and lots of gold/crowns given out in that time. X-up was designed to include everyone on all levels. Whether they pvp, do dungeons, group with MNM and those that do solo with crafting. With the tables done, that entire section is invalid making it unbalanced. I don't want to cater to a few groups and ignore others.

Later, if I can find a way to balance things out, then I'll relook at it.
