Absolutely beautiful. Some of the best knives in the world are made by Chris Reeves. They are pricey for sure but even folks who no little about knives always make comments on mine when they borrow it. The ergonomics and quality are outstanding.

The more I look at it the more I like it, Meg. One of his newer models: https://chrisreeve.com/products/impinda

Oh, yeah. That Impinda is a beauty. Chris lived in South Africa and gives his knives South African names.

Nice! I have a small Seb and have had a number of his older fixed blade models. Many years back I was lucky enough to get into Kit Carson folders when they were still fairly reasonable and I love them dearly.

Here is a story that will make knife guys cringe. Some 15+ years ago I got into forged knives and built up a decent collection of stag hunters and bowies from smiths such as Mike Williams, John Fitch and Kevin Cashen. Enter health issues and generally being checked out....with my forged knives stored in beautiful Kenny Rowe leather sheaths...for many years. Yeah. When I finally checked up on them I was not happy. Don't be that guy!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Poor things. The acids in leather do baaaaad things to steel. Stainless is not even immune (if you are unfortunate enough to have a stainless steel knife, anyway) LOL.
