I'm all out of TV shows to watch.

I'm all caught up on these and need something else to binge watch...

Altered Carbon
Black Mirror
Childhood's End
Colony
Continuum
Dark Matter
Defiance
Dollhouse
Extant
Firefly
Killjoys
Lost in Space
Salvation
Star Trek: Discovery
The 100
The Expanse
The Flash
The Orville
The Shannara Chronicles
Westworld

You might see a pattern there. I prefer Science Fiction / Fantasy / Speculative Fiction, but I have an open mind. Vikings was one of my favorite series's. I also liked Spartacus, and even Once Upon a Time.

I'm just looking for something else that's interesting and good quality, thought provoking entertainment. There are a number of other sci-fi series's I've seen on Netflix that I have no idea if they are any good or not. Too many to investigate each one. Looking for suggestions of things other people have really enjoyed. It doesn't have to be new, just new to me. ;-) ...and recommendations, please, not a list

Thanks!

I hadn't even heard of those two. Are they on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

*Battlestar Galactica

*Stargate SG-1 / Stargate Atlantis

---

I've seen just about every sci-fi show out there.

Battlestar Galactica is still one of, if not the, best written, performed, paced show I've ever seen; not just sci-fi, but show in general.

Stargate Atlantis is a lot more succinct than SG-1: 5 seasons, progressive narrative arc, solid characters, little (but still some) fluff and gimmick.

SG-1 is one of the classics, and very easy to watch. Go in with a casual expectation, the point when the main team breaks up is a good point to stop watching. Or just background it if you've nothing else pending.

((Also Game of Thrones? I'm assuming you've seen it, but it wasn't on your list))

I personally like Fringe. It’s one of those J.J. Abrams shows that’s kinda like X-Files but serialized with a long cohesive story arch.

LOL. Those are all on my list of shows that it just goes without saying that I watched ages ago. Battlestar Galactica was my favorite show for the longest. Really loved Caprica as well. I was hoping they'd do a show like Caprica for all 12 Colonies. Alas, Caprica was the only one and only lasted one season. It was very good.

I watched all of the Stargate series's and both SG1 movies in addition to the original movie. ... multiple times. LOL

Yep, watched all of GoT, first 3 or 4 seasons of Breaking bad, and first 3 or 4 seasons of Walking Dead.

Thanks for the suggestions, though. Pretty sure I also watches a bit of Fringe, maybe even all of the episodes. It's been a while.

Oakos, Barry looks pretty good. I'll have to check it out.

I've seen Jessica Jones and Sense 8 in the Netflix list and thought about checking them out. The descriptions just didn't hook me. Maybe I'll just have to watch some Episode Ones.

Someone the other day, at work I think, was telling me about some series. They said the first two or three seasons are slow, then it picks up. Christ! I'm not going to sit through three seasons of something hoping it's going to "pick up." LOL

Thank you guys. I wanted to filter out the shows that weren't worth looking at so I had a short list of shows to take a look at.

I'll be checking out these for sure:

Legion
The Magicians
Jessica Jones
Lucifer
Sense 8

I think I watched Stranger Things, I'll have to check to be sure and add that to the list if not.

I'm not a big sitcom fan; I don't even like "Big Bang Theory." But, I'll check out The Good Place, AP Bio, and Santa Clarita diet and see if they hook me.

Does anyone recommend "The Handmaid's Tale?" Someone told me it was good, but that same person LOVES "Big Bang Theory", so his taste is in question.

After Jessica Jones, look for Luke Cage and then the Defenders.

The first season of JJ was outstanding with David Tennant as the main villain.

Thank you, Infidelux. Jessica Jones has gotten multiple "check marks" so I'll have to check it out soon.

Farscape
Rome (two seasons but was great)
All of those are older, but good series if you haven't seen them.

If going to watch Jessica Jones then like said before Luke Cage is also good but to understand a lot in defenders will need to watch Daredevil also. If want Iron Fist is part of Defenders also but worst of the group as far as his series.

Punisher was a surprise also was a spin off from Daredevil.

If haven't watched Stranger things it is a must see IMO great show.

Arrow is one been watching lately not bad for a DC series since watched flash then might like it.

Another interesting one is Into the Badlands.
