Shopping around for a new gaming mouse, recommendations?

Looking at THIS ONE but I am honestly not sure if I would make use of most those buttons, especially if they are awkward to reach.

Also...THIS ONE is on the list

I have a razor naga 12 button and use the skills on that. Though I do not use all the buttons because they are difficult to reach. 1-6 are skills, 9 is my Q, and 12 is something else. The rest ... nothing

It does take a little to get used to. I would be considering the razor 6 button next time because they are that much bigger.

Using skills on the mouse is nice tho.

I'm still using my Logitech G700, I have enough issues just using the 4 side buttons most of the time. Mostly as voice comms or the O'Shit skills lol

Went to my local Best Buy on lunch today, they had a Corsair Glaive demoing Call of Duty WWII, tried it, loved it, bought it! Not a whole lot of buttons but some great options, incredible precision and fits my hand like it was custom built for it.

Honestly, I only use maybe 6 of the 12 buttons my G600 mouse has Oaks and half the time when playing certain games that allow mods I still try and bind things to like shift+left click, etc... lol. You're not missing too much until maybe like, Pantheon; heh.

I ALMOST picked that one up! It was just a bit to "low" profile for me, think it has to do with how I hold a mouse. It was a VERY close 2nd though.

I am definitely buying a Rival 500 when my current mouse goes out.

Large enough to fit my hand and I like the way the side buttons are spaced out, much easier to find on the fly.

Me too. Although I only need about half of the buttons for ESO, other games require all of them and then all of them again with modifiers. I don't remember if it was AA, SWtOR, or WoW where I had mapped to skills and other necessities buttons 1-12, then Alt-1-12, and Ctrl-1-12, and Shift-1-12. I like it because I only have to move my thumb a centimeter between skills.

I have a Naga hex. Found it reconditioned on Amazon. I tried a 12 button mouse but like the Hex as it has a resting place for my thumb to be. I put my map, mount, cursor lock (let's me get out of mouse look mode in ESO) and my movement for back and sideways. I steer with my mouse - left button and pickup things with my right mouse. All my skills are on my 1-6 keys or around that area. Works for me.

Yes it does. I love my G502 and that feature was the single most important thing my new mouse had to have.

Thanks Infedelux. Me too, that and the side to side rocking scroll wheel. I've got bars swap on the right and mount up on the left on my current mouse. It's a G9 and I'll be needing a replacement soon.

My "push to talk" button is my wheel button. I'd be jumping on and off my horse and swapping bars in mid air all the time. LOL I have my quick slot mapped to "rock left" and "synergy" mapped to "rock right" so I do occasionally pop a potion when I go to speak.

That's what I use for ESO, Rival 500. For Overwatch & Destiny 2, I use a Corsair M650.
