Golfed yesterday in the warm sunshine. Came home and had a BBQ. This is what I woke up to this morning:

My poor BBQ. So I'm thinking, I've got all seasons and a 4x4, I can make it to work and put on my winters later. Made it 2 blocks and slid through an intersection. Turned around, came home and changed all 4 tires in 25 minutes in my garage. I was only 10 minutes late for work. There were 4 cars in the ditch in the 2 miles I drove to work. One Ford 4x4 with good winters went over a bank and into a creek.

Am I the only one wondering what qualifies as "Warm Sunshine" for you up yonder?

Anyway, damn, man, that poor grill. Looks like about 5-6 inches? I'd come up and check myself, but it's not deep enough for me to bust out my "measuring implement"...

Spent 2 weeks golfing in Phoenix last year. Gonna retire there. The sooner the better. I think I shit out my pancreas while shoveling today.

Hey All...

Nox here - and for those who dont recognize the name, was playing ESO up until June of last year. July 2016, drove my wife and the little guy from Upstate NY to Phoenix - nothing like a two hour lightning storm at night in western Oklahoma. Returned to NY and spent six months doing renovations to the home to prepare it to sell and then starting on Christmas Day did the trek to Phoenix in the second car.

If you want to do the transition from the Wintry North to Phoenix, it will take time to acclimate, try to move during winter and hopefully you wont catch Valley Fever like I did. But it was worth it - I literally live in Paradise Valley, 15 minute commute (big deal in Phoenix) and I have been able to focus on getting back to good health after rebuilding my shoulder/hip from sports injuries. Great hiking year round and plenty to do - just don't do it at rush hour.

We finally had our belongings podded from NY to here and unloaded last week and I literally unboxed my new Alienware Game Rig two weeks ago - hopefully will be able to jump into ESO soon.

Life is an adventure...

Some how Valley Fever doesn't sound like an adventure. Glad to hear from you Nox and hope to see you back on line soon. Just let us know when you are set up and ready to download and play again. Someone can get you an invite out before you even log in!

Got 2.5 feet of snow yesterday. everywhere is carnage, cars in the ditch, downed trees. Hwy 1 (Trans Canada) was blocked with Semi trailers who stopped at the light and coud not get going again. Pic! Of my front yard.

Also, this pic of sunrise was taken at noon the other day. You can have Canada!

Nox!!!!! Welcome back! I hope to see you in game soon! Squee, I have two years left in the Seattle area and then I am moving into the exact weather you posted. I won't be in Canada (Winthrop, WA) but damn close. I hope two years is enough time to pack up my house. We've lived here for 20 years, so the amount of crap I have.....scary! But I'll pay the price of shoveling to get out of the traffic here... I'm dusting off my cross country skis and eyeballing the snow bikes and snow mobiles.
